Teams
Founding a team, inviting drivers, joining and leaving, team ELO, and how teams score in standings.
A team groups drivers under one name and tag. Teams have a team ELO, a place on the team leaderboard, and a table in each series' standings. You race for one team at a time.
The teams page
Open Leaderboards in the top bar and select Teams.
- Invitations (when you have any) lists the teams that invited you, with Accept and Decline.
- Your team (when you are in one) shows your team's tag, name, Team ELO and number of drivers. Select Open team to see the roster.
- Team leaderboard lists every team by team ELO, with its captain, its best driver and its number of drivers. Select a team to open it.
Next to each team's ELO, a small chart shows how its members' ELOs spread, all teams on the same scale from 0 to the platform's highest ELO. A team with five drivers or more gets a box: the middle half of its drivers, the median as a bright line, and whiskers to the lowest and highest ELO. A smaller team gets a line from its lowest to its highest ELO with a dot for each driver.
Team ELO
Team ELO is the average ACC ELO of all members. Members who have not raced yet count at the starting ELO of 1500. Teams without members rank last. See Ratings.
Founding a team
You can found a team if you are signed in and not in a team yet.
- On Teams, select Found a team.
- Fill in Name (2 to 60 characters), Tag (2 to 5 characters) and an optional Description.
- Select Found team.
You become the team's Captain and the team page opens.
Inviting drivers
Drivers join a team by invitation from its captain.
- On your team's page, type part of their name or their SteamID64 under Find a driver in the Invitations card, and select Invite next to them.
- Or open the driver's profile, for example from a race result, and select Invite to and your team's tag.
The profile then shows Invited, with Withdraw to take the invitation back. Your team's page lists every open invitation under Invitations, with Withdraw for each.
Only drivers with an account can be invited, and each driver once while the invitation is open.
Joining a team
When a captain invites you, the invitation shows on your dashboard, under Invitations on Teams and on the team's page.
- Select Accept to join the team.
- Select Decline to say no. The captain can invite you again later.
You race for one team at a time. If you are already in a team, the invitation stays open until you leave it, and accepting before that shows "You are already in a team. Leave it first."
Leaving a team
- Open your team's page.
- Select Leave and confirm.
The captain has no Leave button.
The team page
The page shows Team ELO, Drivers, and the Roster: each member's Role (Captain or Driver), Top (where their ELO stands), SR and ELO, strongest first. The captain also sees the team's open Invitations.
Teams in standings
Each series has a Teams tab in its standings. A team's score for a week is the average of its best three drivers' results that week, and every week counts. Points go to the team a driver is in when the table is shown, so a driver who changes team takes their points along. See Standings.
Note
Your team tag shows next to your name on your driver profile.
