Best times collects the fastest laps driven in sessions on bdr. Use it to see the pace at a track before a race, or to check where your own best lap stands.
Finding a leaderboard
- Open Leaderboards in the top bar and select Best times. On a phone, Best times is in the navigation row.
- If several games have lap times, pick the game with the buttons at the top.
- Pick the track from the list, then the car class and the period: Today, This week or Ever. Without a choice you see this week's board of the track driven last; if nobody drove there this week, the all-time board.
- All records shows every track and car class of the game at once, with its record. Select a record to open its board. Signed in, each record also shows your own place, all time and this week.
What you picked is part of the page address. Copy the address to share that board, and use your browser's back button to return to the one you looked at before.
Reading a leaderboard
- The quickest three stand on the podium at the top, the fastest in the middle.
- Below it are the 20 fastest drivers of the period, each once with their best lap, the car, the gap to the quickest, how many laps they drove there and when they last drove there.
- Your own lap is shown as You. If it is not in the top 20, your line is added below the board with your share of the field, such as Top 30 %.
- Select another driver's name to open their profile. Drivers without a bdr account are shown by their initials with a not registered badge.
- Without signing in you see the times and cars, but not who drove them.
Cars are grouped by car class, so a leaderboard compares cars that race against each other.
Every community has its own best times: open its page and select Best laps. They show the laps driven on its servers. Switch on Only its members to see its members' laps wherever they drove on bdr, or both together for its members' laps on its own servers.
Where the times come from
Times come from the result files that race servers upload after each session. A lap only appears once its session's result has been received. Laps from servers that do not upload to bdr never appear.

Best times are not a rating. They do not change your ELO, Safety Rating or standings. See Ratings.
Why is my lap missing?
- The board lists the 20 fastest drivers. If you are slower, your line is below the board, and only when you are signed in.
- The leaderboard only lists laps from race and qualifying sessions. A fast practice lap does not appear there.
- The lap could not be matched to your account, so it is listed as Unknown driver. This happens when you drove under a different Steam account than the one you signed in with. See Signing in.
